This is probably the easier of the 4 sloping lies as it gives us a launch pad from which to get the ball in the air. There are, however, some key adjustments to make in order that you make a solid contact and hit the desired distance.
One of the tougher on-course scenarios, this shot takes a number of adjustments and a lot of practise to play well. The ball flight will always be lower and very powerful. This sounds great but not when you are playing to fly over a bunker and stop the ball on the green.
The ball below feet shot is possibly the most challenging of the sloping lies. There are sigificant adaptations required in your stance and swing so take plenty of club and swing within yourself.
The loft of the club plays a significant role in this one. With the club resting above our feet, the loft points left creating a shot that starts left and hooks.
