One Fluid Movement
At some stage, all the 'parts' need to come together into One Fluid Movement! This drill is great for integrating the elements back into the whole.
If you really want to maximise your power then take this a big step further with an even more dynamic look at this model, see (link to baseball video).
This sense of 'one fluid movement' is really important if you are to take all your development work to the course. We can't be monitoring several parts of the action and expect to play at our best. The second stage of this drill (club swooshing just off the ground) is the basis to my practise swing on the course. I might just add extra attention to the club face angle through the impact zone. Practice swings need to be whole (part moves are ok but not parts added to together), fluid and fit the shot intended.
